Material-selection and RFQ guides
Practical questions for engineers and buyers. Use the supplied grade data and confirm the current specification with Hangda.
Select around the working point
Begin with the required field, flux or magnetic output in your system, then define component geometry and operating temperature. Review reverse-field exposure and the magnetic load line with your engineering team.
- Define continuous and peak magnet temperature, including exposure time and thermal cycling.
- Specify the required magnetic output and its measurement position or method.
- Provide the drawing, magnetization direction and relevant mechanical constraints.
- Compare documented grades at the same test temperature.
- Confirm the current specification and agree prototype validation before design approval.
Keep temperature conditions explicit
The supplied table gives XGS 26-T550 at 23–26 MGOe at 20 °C and 9–11 MGOe at 550 °C. These describe different measurement conditions. Do not use room-temperature energy product as a guaranteed hot-circuit result.
The H-series table lists 350 °C, while the English XGS 35H brochure lists 300 °C. Specification confirmation Obtain the applicable signed specification. Geometry, reverse field and exposure can limit the actual operating envelope.
For temperature-compensated grades, the supplied coefficient magnitude is 0.01%/°C. Confirm its sign and test interval; no new temperature curve is inferred here.
